Publicly listed builder Century Properties Group Inc. expects to generate P8 billion in sales from a high-end residential tower in Makati City where it partnered with the luxury group Armani for the interior design, a statement issued on Friday showed.

The upscale project, dubbed Century Spire, will be a 60-story tower within the company’s 3.4-hectare flagship development, Century City.

Based on the statement, Armani/Casa Interior Design Studio will lead in conceptualizing and designing Century Spire’s high-end residential units, common areas and amenities.

“We wanted to work with a brand that could bring an eminent degree of sophistication to this singular building. Armani/Casa fits the bill perfectly,” Century Properties chair and CEO Jose E.B. Antonio said in the statement.

“Their designs are sophisticated, comfortable and functional. They not only fit the Studio Daniel Libeskind aesthetic but bring an extraordinary level of quality to their interior design work,” he added.

Giorgio Armani, president and chief executive of the Armani Group, welcomed the deal in the same statement.

“I am very pleased to be partnering Armani/Casa with Century Properties, and believe that the combination of Daniel Libeskind’s vision and my own will result in a truly remarkable place to live, full of elegance and wonder,” he said.

The project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2018, the statement showed.
