With the property boom in the country in full swing, the construction industry has been thriving. Compared to many years back, building materials were very limited and designer tile options were not available.

Thanks to Wilcon Depot, the leading provider of high-grade supplies and big ideas for builder’s homes, homemakers have a one-stop shop for all their building requirements.

Founded in 1977 by its visionary president William Belo, Wilcon started as a small hardware store located on Quezon Avenue. Decades later, surpassing the market challenges, Wilcon expanded its operations in and out of Metro Manila, catering to the homebuilding needs of many Filipinos across the country.

Taking its operations to a higher level, Wilcon Supply opened its first depot outlet in Alabang, Las Piñas, in 2003. Aside from offering a wide array of products, the spacious warehouse-type shopping arena is full air-conditioned and has reliable delivery service and knowledgeable sales personnel.

Customer satisfaction is an important element for Wilcon. It continues to put its efforts into making shopping experience pleasurable for its customers while giving the best value for their money when it comes to building materials.

The company is known as a haven that offers the most extensive selection of strong and trusted local and imported brands in the market. Its wide range of merchandise includes tiles, sanitary wares, appliances, plumbing, hardware, tools and other DIY (do-it-yourself) items such as electrical, building materials, automotive, doors and moldings, housewares, outdoor living and paints and sundries.

With visible directional signs and directory inside the store, home shopping is made easy and convenient. Additionally, the company introduced the Design Hub, a service that allows customers to create their own design through a computer software with cost estimates and product lists made available inside the store.

Today, Wilcon has a total of 30 operational outlets located strategically at Metro Manila’s key cities as well as the country’s main provinces such as Cavite, Pampanga, Tarlac, Batangas, Laguna, Rizal, Bulacan, Ilocos Norte, Cebu and Davao.

Metropolitan Cebu can now count on two Wilcon stores when shopping for quality home building and improvement supplies. The latest branch—in Mandaue City—joins the Talisay City branch that had its opening less than a year ago.

Wilcon’s Loyalty Program and innovative Design Hub are available at both stores, with ample parking spaces and a special corner for children adding to its many customer attractions.

Together with Wilcon’s founder Belo and senior executive vice president and chief operating officer Rosemarie Ong, the grand opening had Wilcon assistant vice president for business development Mark Belo, Cebu Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale, Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes and Vice Mayor Glenn Bercede.

With the management’s continuous efforts in improving the services they provide clients, Wilcon has come up with monthly promos and its biggest promotion to date is Win A Ride Promo.

Shoppers get a chance to take home a brand-new Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD, a Mercedes Benz ML350 or one of 100 iPad Minis. This grandiose raffle will run until the end of the year at all Wilcon branches nationwide.
