Elaro rekindling man’s affair with nature

HIGHLIGHTING life’s simple pleasures, Elaro is a residential development that embraces the community in its natural landscape.

Riding on the advances of the so-called digital age, property developers are now harping on the benefits of technology to sell their housing and condominium projects as the key to luxury living.

While most claim to have to the most modern amenities and high-tech facilities, Ayala Land Premier however, decided to “go back to the basics” in order to raise a notch further the quality of living in the country.

In an exclusive interview with Inquirer Property, Katrina B. Aguas, marketing and sales officer of Ayala Land Premier, explained that through the company’s latest project, the Elaro, future homeowners will have the privilege of experiencing nature at its best, while at the same time enjoy the comfort of urban convenience—definitely a whiff of fresh air for potential buyers.

“Elaro is a place where you get to appreciate nature and the outdoors. (It is) a place where you can enjoy quality time with your family without getting stressed since it is not located in a busy city like Makati or Quezon City. It is really a place for people who value relaxation, tranquility, peaceful setting vs an area where you get stuck on traffic and pollution is high,” added Paolo O. Viray, product development manager of Ayala Land Premier.

According to Ayala Land officials, the 72-hectare Elaro will be located right beside Nuvali’s wildlife and bird sanctuary. Nuvali is at present Ayala Land’s first and largest eco-sustainable community and has since been considered a growth center because of its various facilities, amenities and its proximity to places of interest.

Officials said what is “nice” about Elaro is that the development was designed to be sensitive to the natural surroundings of the area. Even the terrain and the natural composition of the land have not been altered.

Appealing to families, kids

ELARO’S expert masterplanning guarantees one of exclusive and distinct living experiences.

“We feel that preserving the natural character of the land will help make the Elaro sustainable and appealing to families and kids who enjoy the outdoors,” they added.

Viray related that while the team was conceptualizing the project, children were at the topmost of their minds. The team, he explained, realized how kids now are so into gadgets, technology and video games and they thought that it would be nice to reacquaint them to the basics, which is getting to appreciate nature, to enjoy the outdoors rather than just staying in their rooms.

Ayala Land further assured potential homebuyers that since Elaro was designed to be a sustainable community, they are thus assured of the long-term value of the development.

3-hectare amenity area

And just like any other development from Ayala Land, Elaro also boasts of a 3-hectare amenity area that features the village clubhouse, the main park and the multipurpose courts. This high-end development will also provide future residents a social hall and a fitness area as well as lap, kiddie and lounge pools.

Since the entire area will only have 451 houses, ranging from 600 to 1,400 sq m per lot, homeowners are also assured of enough open space.

THERE is a wide array of outdoor amenities designed to complement the natural features of the terrain.

Officials said homebuyers need not worry about the security and maintenance of the property since Ayala Property Management Corp. (APMC) and Ayala Security Force will take over upon the project’s initial turnover on the second quarter of 2013.

“It will be a walled development, but the perimeter fence will be sensitive to the Nuvali wildlife and bird sanctuary. Aside from this, standard security measures will be in place,” Viray noted.

Unlike most developments where buyers have limited choices in terms of home design, the Elaro will be an open architecture, meaning buyers are free to choose any design that they would like to have.

“The neighborhood wasn’t designed to have a specific theme—it’s open architecture. But at the same time, we provided enough restrictions and set certain standards to make sure that the open space ratio and natural features of the site (are) respected,” explained Romeo D. Pascual, Ayala Land Premier senior associate for land houses.

Potential homebuyers can choose from five different lot cuts: the Prime and Park Lane—lots in front of open spaces or for those who want to have a view of open space; Park Estate—directly beside an open space; Aviary Estate—new classification which only Elaro has because it has the view of the sanctuary; Park premier—directly beside the main park, where residents can put a pedestrian gate leading them to the main clubhouse.

Asked why Ayala Land continues to provide such high end developments, officials said: “We still see the appetite of the market, given the success of the Elaro and even Park Terraces, we’re surprise that there’s a big market looking for high-end residential products and Ayala Land Premier will always be there to address that need.”
