Property developer SM Development Corp. has broken ground for its residential development project in Taguig City —the four-tower Grace Residences along Cayetano Boulevard near C5 road.
“We are happy to break ground for Grace Residences, a development that continues SMDC’s tradition of providing affordable, yet high quality homes,” said SMDC president Jeffrey Lim said in a statement.
“Grace’s location is highly strategic, being a short drive from Bonifacio Global City, home to the newly opened SM Aura Premier, as well as from the Makati Central Business District and the Ortigas Center,” Lim added.
“With its open spaces and first-class amenities, Grace Residences is suited to the suburban lifestyle of Taguig residents,” he said.
The project will occupy about two and a half hectares of land and offer about 3,500 residential units spread over a gross floor area of around 170,000 square meters (sq m).
Construction is expected to be completed in three to five years.
One-bedroom units are up for sale starting at P 2.1 million for a 27- sq m unit. One-bedroom units have a footprint of 31- and 36- sq m. Available 31-sq m units are priced at about P2.5 million. The 36-sq m units have been sold out, the company said.
Planned amenities include a landscaped area; numerous swimming pools and pool deck areas; a basketball court, a children’s playground and a meditation garden. The project will also have a retail area for the residents’ convenience.
Grace Residences’ 12-storey Tower A and its 20-storey Tower B were launched to the property market in November 2012. Towers C and D are scheduled for launching by the end of 2013, and the middle of 2014, respectively. Doris C. Dumlao
