MANILA, Philippines—Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. is the latest oil company to announce a slash in the prices of petroleum products.
It said it is rolling back prices of unleaded premium and regular gasoline by P1.50 per liter, diesel and kerosene by P1.70/liter to its dealers to reflect the decline in international product prices effective 12:01 Monday.
Earlier Petron Corp. and Chevron Philippines said they were slashing prices of gasoline products by P1.50 a liter and of diesel and kerosene by P1.70 per liter, also effective Monday, due to the steep drop in the prices of oil in the international market.
Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, meanwhile, announced it decreased the pump prices of diesel by P1.70 per liter and gasoline by P1.50 per liter effective 6 p. m. Sunday due to the softening in the prices of refined petroleum products in the international market.
