How have we given you Priority?
The unveiling of Standard Chartered Bank’s revitalized Priority Banking was inspired by its growing number of satisfied customers. They have only glowing words for the level of service of the bank’s global program as well as its relationship managers and bank officers.
Standard Chartered’s Priority Banking has continued to provide a total banking relationship for clients that is centered on three pillars of commitment: Priority Services, Priority Benefits, and Priority Solutions. For Priority Services, clients are provided with dedicated expertise and personalized services that are delivered in any Standard Chartered branch in the world.
The second pillar, Priority Benefits, centers on the perks that come with Priority Banking’s Visa Infinite Credit Card, a by-invitation-only credit card that comes with a list of benefits tailored to meet the premium lifestyle of the holder. Priority Solutions, on the other hand, is about providing personalized wealth solutions to help clients meet their financial needs.
Many of Priority Banking’s customers had started their accounts on a trial basis. As Pat, a client of the Standard Chartered’s branch in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, relates: “After retirement, I had a small amount of money which I needed to invest in order to have a monthly income to sustain my lifestyle. And that is the reason why I was at that time looking for certain financial and banking institutions which would suit my need. And one of them which I approached was Standard Chartered Bank knowing that is one of the best and more stable banks in the world.”
What does Pat enjoy most with Priority Banking? “I am happy with the way they were giving me advice,” he answers. “[Standard] Chartered offers a lot more, and based on that, I can diversify properly based on my interest and, accordingly, what comes into the picture is the “service,” he relates, adding that “I have been putting my money slowly but surely more and more into Standard Chartered.”
Meanwhile, Sylvia of Alabang Branch enjoys the professionalism that she receives from Priority Banking. She says she likes how her Relationship Manager has helped her. “[He] just doesn’t let our money sleep in the bank. He gives so many recommendations, informs us of new promotions, new programs … everything. We are well advised,” she adds.

For Vicky, based in Cebu, Priority Banking with Standard Chartered Bank “is a real privilege. You know, I’ve experienced it over the years and I hope that it will continue to be such that the human touch is there, the competence remains there, regardless of whether that staff you know grows and goes somewhere or there are replacements.”
Vicky feels that Priority Banking program stands the test of time. Even if a new relationship manager takes over her account, “it makes me feel so good that in spite of all the changes, you know the system works,” she adds.
Julie, a Makati Client, narrates “During Martial Law, at that time, a friend of mine who was a foreign correspondent suggested that some of my hard-earned savings should be invested in a safe haven. He was residing in Singapore at that time so that’s how I learned of the bank and Standard Chartered Philippines opened its doors to me.”
Julie commends the bank for its integrity, reputation, and global reach: “Everywhere I go especially in Asia, I see it,” she says. She attests to the service that has passed the test of time: “I’ve not had a single unpleasant incident like I had with another bank,” she adds.
To prove just how satisfied she is with Priority Banking, she points to her son. “He has an account at Standard Chartered and he never told me. He just follows my footsteps without telling me.” She then succinctly describes his son as a satisfied second generation client, which should really come as no surprise.
As the first and oldest international bank with close to 140 years of service to the nation, Standard Chartered Bank has been a trailblazer in the industry, raising the service level when and where it matters the most – the heart of the customer.
