Gokongwei-led Robinsons Land Corp. is opening a 118-room Go Hotels in Paco, Manila, as part of a plan to expand the budget brand gohotels.ph.
The hotel, called Go Hotels Otis, will be the company’s second in Metro Manila and sixth nationwide with a total of 700 rooms.
The latest addition to the growing chain is on the fifth level of Robinsons Otis Mall which is beside RLC’s Otis 888 Residences, a residential compound.
“The new Go Hotels Otis-Manila boasts of an upgrade in amenities to enhance the experience of guests at no extra cost,” gohotels.ph general manager Elizabeth Gregorio said in the statement.
Gregorio said the rooms now have a more spacious and ergonomic layout, separate enclosures for shower, toilet and sink area for more privacy and enhanced functionality.
The televisions have been upgraded to 32-inch LED screens (from 24-inch LCD), and the rooms are now provided with luggage racks and a pull-down work table. Free WiFi is also offered to guests.
Go Hotels Otis-Manila caters to businessmen who have transactions in the Manila area, including nearby Binondo, as well as tourists visiting the cultural and historical sites in the city.
It is near important government agencies, learning institutions, hospitals, airport, seaport and bus terminals serving southern Luzon.
Other gohotels.ph branches are in Tacloban (Leyte), Dumaguete (Negros Oriental), Puerto Princesa (Palawan), Bacolod (Negros Occidental) and Mandaluyong City.
Later this year, RLC is scheduled to open two more Go Hotels—one in Iloilo City and the other in Ortigas Center (Metro Manila) to bring the total number of branches to eight.
