The Nuvali charm keeps growing

LUSH landscape and waterways at Nuvali

As part of my training for the Cebu Ironman in August, Saturday morning is bike-training day at Nuvali. Its rolling hills and valleys are perfect endurance cycling routes with lush greenery countryside views.

This vibrant mixed-use township development of Ayala Land is the country’s first and largest property defined by environmental sustainability.

Spanning the cities of Sta. Rosa and Calamba, and the municipality of Cabuyao in Laguna, Nuvali draws the South together with dynamic commercial centers and gated residential communities. Well-lit, fully paved roads are lined with local trees like balete and mahogany.

Across a 1,860-hectare landscape are outlet shopping malls, open spaces and fields of green. Carrying forward a legacy of locating families where generations will flourish, Ayala Land Premier already has four residential communities in Nuvali.

Recently added is the fifth community—Luscara, a new neighborhood that comprises over 50 percent of greens and open areas. Luscara’s streamlined road network maximizes landscapes and minimizes concrete surfaces and traffic. Shared garden courtyards give privacy to lot owners with their own enclaves.

Within a lush, 50-hectare community, 36 residential enclaves cluster around private garden courtyards. Each enclave averages eight residential lots per cluster. In some areas, views of Tagaytay Ridge and Mt. Makiling can be enjoyed.

Each residential enclave shares a unique garden courtyard ranging in size from approximately 800 to 2,500 square meters. Here, landscaping interweaves with secondary roads, keeping concrete surfaces to a minimum. These garden courtyards double as personal recreational areas—be it for gardening, barbecue cookouts or simply relaxing.

The amenities include a 3-hectare clubhouse area that offers vast opportunities for recreation. Children could play outdoors in a naturally beautiful, safe neighborhood. The shared gardens converge in Luscara’s Main Park. Approximately 600 meters in length, the Main Park nourishes the legacy of a community at one with nature.

Wonderful reasons

There are so many other wonderful reasons for making Nuvali a home whether permanently or for the weekends. There are nearby churches like the St. Benedict Church in Westgrove and St. John Bosco Parish in Sta. Rosa for religious services.

Within the Nuvali area are several new schools and universities. Some of them are Xavier School and Beacon Academy.

For the golfers, Nuvali area has two golf courses—The Country Club Golf Course and Canlubang Golf & Country Club. Canlubang offers a challenging round of golf with decades-old Flame trees providing shade along the course.

AYALA Land’s Nuvali at night

It’s wonderful to know that Nuvali has medical services around the area. Next to the commercial spaces is the South Luzon Hospital and Medical Center. And just a few exits away is the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Alabang.

As my Saturday bike trips happen more often, the charm of Nuvali keeps growing. Feeling safe on its road, I am joined with an increasing number of weekend bikers and runners.

Take a pleasant trip to the south and visit Nuvali. The outlet shopping alone makes the trip so worthy. For more information, contact Carlo Banzon, senior Premier property specialist at banzon.carlo@ayalaland.com.ph or Chiara Banzon Daez at chiaradaez@gmail.com.
