Toyota fortifies presence in key areas with 4 more dealerships

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) accounts for nearly half of all new vehicles sold here, but don’t expect the country’s biggest automaker to just relax and take things easy.

In the first four months of 2013, TMP opened four new dealerships in various parts of the country. It now has a total of 35 dealerships ready to serve its loyal customers.

“Expect more from TMP. The opening of Toyota Calamba, Laguna, Toyota Mandaue South-Cebu, Toyota Marilao, Bulacan, and Toyota Tacloban, Leyte, will further bring Toyota’s products and services closer to its customers. It is our responsibility to reach out and help make TMP’s services  more accessible to our customers,” said TMP president Michinobu Sugata.

Equipped with spacious and modern showrooms, these new dealerships are designed to allow customers to better appreciate TMP’s extensive lineup of vehicles. Furthermore, the dealerships’ state-of-the-art service facilities all employ the renowned Toyota Quality Service.

“All our dealerships are designed to provide the most relaxing ambience while they are selecting their favorite Toyota vehicles or while their units are being serviced,” said Sugata.

While Toyota Tacloban, Leyte (located in Brgy. 71, Maharlika Highway, Naga Naga), is TMP’s first dealership in Region 8, Toyota Calamba, Laguna (located in National One Highway, Barrio Turbina), is the company’s second dealership in Laguna (the other one is located in San Pablo City). The two Laguna dealerships are expected to fortify TMP’s presence in the Southern Tagalog Region.

The imposing 4-story-high Toyota Mandaue South-Cebu (located in Ouano Avenue, North Reclamation Area) on the other hand, is now regarded as TMP’s largest dealership and biggest service center in the VisMin area, while the one in Marilao (located in McArthur Highway, Abangan Sur) is TMP’s most sustainable and environmentally friendly dealership.

Energy-efficient

Apart from employing an LED-based lighting system, and an advanced architectural design that allows more natural light to come in, 57 percent of Toyota Marilao’s daily electricity is being sourced from an array of solar panels. These allow the dealership to save about P1.9 million annually.

With these state-of-the-art dealerships around the country, Sugata is confident that TMP will remain the most sought-after automotive brand in the Philippines.

TMP’s sales from January to April this year rose 33 percent to 23,395 units, allowing TMP to capture 41.3 percent of the market, according to the latest report released by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc.

The Vios compact sedan continues to be TMP’s top-seller  while the Innova maintains its hold as the No. 1 multipurpose model.

“With the all-new if not updated Toyota models coming up and with our continuously expanding network of dealerships, TMP is confident that it will continue its record-breaking streak,” promised Sugata, referring to TMP’s goal of bagging its 12th consecutive triple crown which translates to TMP being No. 1 in sales in the passenger car and commercial vehicle segments, and in overall vehicle sales.
