MyxTV launches app on Roku

LOS ANGELES—Asian-American entertainment network Myx TV is partnering with adRise to launch the MyxTV app on Roky.

The announcement comes on the heels of two MyxTV nominations this year from the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) for its two shows, Press Play and MashBox.

Over five million current owners of Roku digital media receivers that enable streaming of video content from numerous providers will find that the Myx TV app is now available on Roku’s Channel Store for download. Roku enables streaming from providers like Netflix, Hulu Plus, HBO GO, Amazon Instant Video, and hundreds of other channels.

AdRise, the nation’s largest content distribution and ad monetization platform for Connected TV devices, partnered with Myx TV to enable the network to reachaudiences that prefer viewing options other than traditional TV and to establish the Myx TV brand in the rapidly growing Connected TV platform.
