With its eye-catching new Chevrolet bow-tie logo, floor-to-ceiling glass walls, cavernous display floor and large glass-enclosed service workshop, the soon-to-be constructed Chevrolet Makati promises to be the most recognizable dealership in the so-called “automotive row” on Chino Roces Avenue (formerly Pasong Tamo Extension).

Expected to be completed before the year ends, the 1,800-square-meter Chevrolet Makati is dealership number 22 of The Covenant Car Company Inc. (TCCCI), Chevrolet’s exclusive importer and distributor in the Philippines.

“Chevrolet Makati is just one of five new dealerships TCCCI has recently signed. With this particular dealership, we partnered with BT Auto Sport Inc., led by its young and dynamic president, Irwin Tieng. This partnership with BT Auto Sport, we believe,  is a partnership that is meant to be—divine intervention has dictated that the opening of Chevrolet Makati dealership should materialize under their management, and everyone in both teams is confident that the next step is key to moving the business up to even greater heights,” said TCCCI president and managing director Albert Arcilla.

He said that with BT Auto Sport Inc. as TCCCI’s new partner in Makati, they are confident that they will represent the brand excellently and will play an integral role in the growth of the Chevrolet brand in the country.

BT Auto Sport Inc. belongs to the Solar Group of Companies, which also owns Solar Entertainment, Gourdo’s, Solar-United International Pictures and real estate firm Solar Resources Inc.

Harness full resources

“We believe in the Chevrolet brand and how it is being managed by TCCCI. And because of this trust and confidence, we will harness the full resources available to us to offer the best service to our customers alongside the excellent Chevrolet products we offer. We will do our part in elevating the Chevrolet brand in the Makati area and in helping make the brand among the top sellers in the Philippines,”  Tieng promised.

He added that the new generation Chevrolet dealership in Makati is set to raise the bar of excellence in terms of showroom experience, customer relations management, sales and aftersales services (with emphasis on technical expertise and workshop administration).

Set to carry the refreshed corporate identity standards instituted by GM International Operations in Shanghai, Chevrolet Makati will offer the public an unobstructed view of the latest models at the showroom. Customers can even comfortably monitor their vehicle while it is being checked inside the dealership’s service area.

“Chevrolet Makati will be a relaxing and friendly place where customers may be able to get up close and personal with the latest Chevrolet lineup,” said Chevrolet Philippines-TCCCI marketing director Lyn Buena.

She enthused that the dealership will carry all the Chevrolet models, from the Spark mini-passenger car and Sonic subcompact car to the globally acclaimed Car of the Year Cruze compact sedan, and the diesel-engined Captiva compact SUV.

Display of vehicles

Also on display will be the Orlando multipurpose vehicle, the Duramax turbo diesel engine-powered Colorado pickup truck, the Trailblazer mid-sized SUV, the iconic Camaro muscle car, and the luxurious Suburban full-sized SUV.

In a short span of three years since TCCCI’s inception, Chevrolet Philippines has been blessed with receiving two successive years of recognition for excellent customer service from JD Power Asia Pacific, an independent award-giving body.

“This recognition inspires us to be even more active, vigorous, innovative and determined in providing excellent services, in introducing an even more relevant product line, and in reaching out to more Filipinos through an expanding dealership network we are building,” shared Arcilla.
