Phinma unveils second Manosa posh townhomes

Phinma President and CEO Raphael B. Felix.

DAVAO CITY–Phinma Properties recently launched its second high-end townhome development known as the Likha Residences Davao, spanning 1.7 hectares of land along the Dona Asuncion Hizon Road in Barangay Pampanga here.

Raphael B. Felix, Phinma Properties’ president and chief executive officer, said the upscale project would offer customers a three-story “work of art,” a spacious green environment, and modern Filipino architecture by master planner Mañosa Architectural Co.

The Barangay Pampanga site will build 94 modern townhomes, some of which will be equipped with an elevator, and each will have two carports.

Alicia dela Pena-Villanueva, sales and marketing head of Likha Residences Davao, said the land development was ongoing for the project which already broke ground in March this year.

Construction would soon follow, with 55 units targeted to be turned over by 2027.

The project had its grand launch at Dusit Thani Residence Davao on June 1.

Likha’s lot areas range from 88 to 108 sq. meters while floor areas range from 180 to 240 sq. meters. Prices of the units start from P20.3 million, said Felix.

‘Work of art’

Felix said Likha Residences Davao comes after the tasteful and classy Phinma and Mañosa Likha Residences Alabang in Muntinlupa City which sold well.

He said Phinma chose Davao City for its second upscale project because of the city’s brisk growth. Phinma branched out in Davao City in 2013.

“It is a growing city and it’s growing fast, with a lot of ongoing infrastructure, (it has) peace and order, many schools; these attract many people to Davao,” Felix said.

Likha Residences Davao is the third development of Phinma Properties in the city. The first was the Arezzo condominium in Doña Pilar, Sasa, which was built in 2013. The company’s second project was the townhomes in Tugbok which it started building last year.

Felix is confident that Likha Residences Davao will create a niche market for Filipinos who desire to experience comfort in both house and lot and condominium living.

Phinma’s other luxury developments include the Manila Polo Club Townhouse, Mariposa Square, and Mariposa Villas.

In Likha townhomes, Phinma is giving its customers the chance to experience a modern Filipino life and breathe fresh air in the Mañosa brand townhomes.

Niche market

The high-end townhome is Mandaya tribe-inspired.

“Likha is uniquely Mandaya using the Dagmay pattern in the entire building for proper ventilation. Likha is a lot of science, a lot of climate, and a lot of culture,” said Architect Gelo Mañosa, CEO of Mañosa & Co. Inc. (MCI,) in a video presentation during the launch as guests remotely viewed the entire Likha Residences Davao perspective.

MCI is led by Francisco Mañosa, National Artist for Architecture in 2018.

The townhomes are designed with elements from the traditional Bahay Kubo, like large windows and “tukod” for the window system, incorporated into the modern design.
