Dagupan has more than just milkfish

No one doubts that this Pangasinan city produces the best tasting bangus (milkfish) in the country. But unknown to many, Dagupan is fast becoming a major producer of the expensive fish, lapu-lapu (grouper).

Dagupan bangus to soon get a brand

Bangus (milkfish) produced in this city and some Pangasinan towns will finally get a “brand” after concerned agencies committed their participation in the bangus branding program of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR).
