The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas will be keeping an eye on foreign capital inflows to effectively manage the country’s inflation while the economy continues to grow by a robust pace.
The Philippines and other emerging economies in the region should be on their guard against any volatility in foreign capital inflows that may arise from a mild recession in the euro zone, according to Asian Development Bank.
The steep rise in foreign capital inflows had put the liquidity management skills of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) to the test in recent months.
