TV host Marc Nelson is new Kia brand ambassador

By

NELSON checks out the new Kia Sorento in a media test drive in Korea recently.

TV host and model Marc Nelson is now the new face of Kia. In an endorsement deal with Columbian Autocar Corp., exclusive distributor of the Korean brand in the Philippines, Nelson will be featured in various media campaigns that feature the upgraded Sorento SUV.

“We’re very pleased to have Marc as our newest endorser,” said CAC president Ginia Domingo during the contract signing held early this month. “Aside from being a prominent TV personality, his passion for sports fits very well with Kia’s image. We’ve always believed that sports are not just for the young but also for the young-at-heart, which is really what the Kia brand is all about. We believe Marc Nelson embodies that perfectly so he was the best choice as the new Sorento’s ambassador.”

NELSON has been a proud owner of a Kia Sorento even before the endorsement.

The new Sorento gets a host of significant improvements including a fresh new exterior look, enhanced powertrain, improved ride, handling and refinement, additional convenience and safety features.

Kia fans should expect amazing collaborations between the new Sorento and Nelson.

Marc will be featured in the new Kia Sorento radio and television broadcasts, as well as in print advertisements. He is also set to participate in social media activities through online platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

‘HAPPY to be part of the Kia family.’

Moreover, expect Nelson to be seen in Kia events over the duration of his endorsement.

Excited

A HANDSHAKE with Columbian Autocar Corp. president Ginia Domingo caps the contract signing.

“I’m really excited with this partnership,” said Nelson who related he has been a proud owner of a Kia Sorento even before the endorsement “I’m happy to be officially part of the Kia family. I love the brand and what it stands for, the active lifestyle that it promotes.”

With annual revenues of over $20 billion, Kia has been a major sponsor of the Australian Open and an official automotive partner of FIFA, the governing body of the FIFA World Cup. Kia Motors Corp.’s brand slogan, “The Power to Surprise,” represents the company’s global commitment to surpassing customer expectations through continuous automotive innovation.
