700,000—Number of units sold by TMP as of September 2011.
500,000—Total number of vehicles produced (completely knocked-down and semi knocked-down units) by TMP in its plant in Santa Rosa, Laguna, since 1989. This feat was achieved in March 2012 when the 500,000th vehicle—a red Toyota Innova—rolled off the assembly line.
56,855—Total number of units TMP sold in 2010. This is 33.7 percent of the 168,490 units sold in the Philippines in 2010.
54,593—Total number of units TMP sold in 2011. This is 38.55 percent of the 141,616 units sold in the Philippines in 2011.
45,915—Number of units TMP sold in 2008. With this feat, TMP became the first local manufacturer to surpass the pre-Asian financial crisis sales record of 41,801 units achieved in 1996.
This was made possible when four out of the country’s top five best-selling vehicles were Toyota products: No. 1 was the Innova (10,544 units sold), second was the Vios (8,717 units sold), fourth was the Fortuner (7,216 units sold) and fifth was the Avanza (6,257 units sold).
