CONDO HUNT

Providing the must-haves for hardworking students

AVIDA TOWERS Primea provides a secure haven along the Taft university strip.

Last week, Inquirer Property started its Condo Hunt series, which we hope could help guide parents in looking for the most convenient, conducive and secure apartment or condo unit to serve as “homes” for their children throughout the school year.

This week, we are taking parents on a virtual tour of the different Avida Land developments near schools and universities, which may offer the kind of amenities and facilities their children would look for and prefer.

Put up by property giant Ayala Land Inc. in 1990, Avida Land was initially meant to provide housing for the employees and executives of the Laguna Techno Park. Fast forward to present day, the company has already built quality homes and has since become a top contender and a preferred choice of the hardworking mid-market segment.

Avida Land pegs its success on its strict adherence to what it dubbed as the five must-haves of every condominium or house and lot project—accessible location, design, quality, buying experience and living experience. And clearly, these same must-haves may very well make any student’s life much more convenient and comfortable.

Depending on one’s needs and whims, here are three Avida developments that parents and students may want to consider:

SENSIBLE AMENITIES help students strike that perfect balance between school and play.

1Avida Towers Primea Taft. Located at the more peaceful and quiet side of Taft Avenue, Avida Towers Primea provides a secure haven along the Taft university strip, which is a convenient urban area for students who wish to live near commercial areas, business districts, hospitals and other important establishments.

The said development could also provide tenants a number of services and facilities that do not only guarantee ultimate convenience but also help them strike that perfect balance between work and play.

Sensible amenities like refreshing pools with a sunset deck, study hall and study room (The Nook@Primea), jogging path and clubhouse will be made available to help students get the much-needed rest and downtime after a busy schedule in school.

Avida Towers Primea Taft is offering studio, one- and two-bedroom units that will be ready for occupancy.

2Avida Towers San Lazaro. Avida Land’s 1.27-hectare development in Sta. Cruz, Manila is strategically situated near top universities like the University of Sto. Tomas, Far Eastern University, San Beda College and the University of the East and is

right beside SM San Lazaro.

A joint venture project by Avida Land and the Manila Jockey Club, the Avida Towers San Lazaro is an affordable Zen-inspired residential condominium project, which will boast centralized amenities and lush landscaping once completed.

The ground floor of 22-story Tower 1—the first of the five residential towers to comprise the Avida Towers San Lazaro—has been allotted for 60 parking slots, while the remaining 21 floors will be for residential purposes.

Meanwhile, the building design has incorporated panoramic windows and spacious interiors with high ceilings to provide all units and even hallways with more natural light and better ventilation.

Its amenities and services include a clubhouse, adult and kiddie swimming pool, jogging path, 24-hour security, centralized water supply, adequate emergency power and telephone- and cable-ready units—all meant to guarantee a relaxing and worry-free life for students.

3Avida Settings Cavite. Located in Molino-Paliparan road, the development sits on a 57.5-hectare property and is a ready

community of colorful American-inspired homes and modern amenities.

Since the development is under the watchful eye of the Ayala Property Management Corp., parents are also assured of a quality home within a safe and secure community.

Avida Settings Cavite is an ideal choice for parents with children who are studying in La Salle Dasmariñas, the International British Academy and other schools within the Cavite and even the Alabang area, as this property is just a mere 15-minute drive from Alabang Town Center via Daanghari.

The development is also conveniently located near hospitals, places of worship and commercial establishments.

Avida Settings Cavite’s amenities and facilities, which include an infinity pool, a modern basketball court, an American-inspired clubhouse, courtyard systems and preserved sloping terrains, will give students that refreshing and rejuvenating feeling after a long day in school.

To further ensure that worry-free student life, Avida Settings Cavite, provides round-the-clock security, CCTV cameras and an electric perimeter fence.
