Security Bank, BDO announce bank schedules for Christmas holidays

Security Bank announced on Thursday that all of its branches would be closed on Dec. 25, Dec. 31, and Jan. 1.

In an advisory, Security said that all of their automated teller machines (ATM) and online banking services would be available during the said dates.

In addition, Security Bank said that it would “business as usual” from Dec. 26 until Dec. 29.

The advisory also stated that selected branches would operate on Dec. 24 and 30 to accommodate its customers. Security Bank advised its customers to check its website for the full list of branches and schedules.

In a separate advisory, Security Bank said that there would be no clearing and settlement of checks on Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

They advised to do the necessary transactions on Dec. 22 and 29.

Postdated checks would mature on Dec. 26, the advisory said.

Meanwhile, BDO advised the public that all of its branches would be close on Christmas and New Year.

Its electronic channels, meanwhile, would be opened to handle transactions from its customers, the advisory said.

Shortened bank hours for selected malls would be implemented on Dec. 24 and 31. Shortened Saturday bank hours would be on Dec. 30.

Regular operating schedules would be from Dec. 26 to 29, and on Jan. 2.

BDO further advised its customers to check their website for the full list of opened branches this holiday season.
