Cirtek pitches novelties to boost internet speed

Listed Cirtek Holdings Philippines Corp. is offering new telecommunications technology solutions following its recent acquisition of United States-based antenna solutions firm, Quintel.

It said the systems to be offered, through subsidiary Cirtek Advanced Technologies and Solutions, Inc. (Catsi), would help “facilitate superior coverage, faster throughput, better stability and reliable connectivity to the local market.”

“Through the use of space and spectrum-efficient innovations, the new system is expected to significantly improve telecommunication operations for uninterrupted crystal-clear voice calls, higher gigabits per second internet mobility, and stable Wi-Fi connections,” Cirtek said in a statement on Tuesday.

It said some of the technologies on offer are multi-band and multifrequency operation on a single antenna. This would allow tower-sharing between different telco carriers.
