Usapang Exports goes to Cebu, Davao and Manila

The Export Marketing Bureau (EMB) of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) brings its Usapang Exports activity to Cebu, Davao, and Manila.

Slated on November 21 at Cebu Grand Hotel, November 23 at Royal Mandaya Davao, and on Dec 6 in Makati City, Usapang Exports aims to gather exporters, business support organizations, officers from relevant government agencies, and other stakeholders. It is one of the activities lined up in celebration of the annual National Exporters’ Week with the theme Innovate. Collaborate. Export! that aims to promote the culture of innovation and collaboration within the export community.

This year, the focus of the activity will be topics on innovation, collaboration and export trends. Speakers from the EMB, Industrial Technology Development Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (ITDI-DOST), Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPO PHIL), and other private sector experts of e-commerce, packaging and creative services will comprise the roster of speakers. Lectures on Packaging Technology Services, Consumer and Global Trends, Packaging Patents, Creative Services Exports, Collaboration Techniques, Online Tools for Export Marketing, and testimonials from successful exporters are some of the featured topics for this year.

Presidential Proclamation 931, s.1996 and House Resolution No. 33 have declared the first week of December as the National Exporters’ Week to encourage all sectors of society to move as one toward the promotion and development of Philippine exports.
