Meralco releases advisory about slight price hike

Meralco announced that there is a slight increase in electricity rates this month. The hike is due to the upward movement in the different components that make up the electricity bill, but is only minimal due to Meralco’s refund that was approved by the Energy Regulatory Commission.

There will be an increase of Php 0.1338 per kilowatt hour this August 2017. The refund translates to a significant reduction of Php 0.79 per kilowatt hour (excluding taxes) for residential customers. Find out more in the advisory below:
