Evo City poised to make waves in Cavite
Evo City, which spans over 200 hectares, is envisioned as a mixed-use masterplanned sustainable estate development.
Alveo Land has sold out the first phase of The Residences, a low-density residential community located at the Evo City in Cavite.
According to Alveo, its recent priority selling event resulted in P3.5 billion worth of sales for the initial 395 lots it offered to buyers last month.
Phase 1 of The Residences at the Evo City will be a 41-hectare community complemented with a main park, basketball court and a children’s area. It will also feature a clubhouse with a function room and board room, a lap pool, lounge pool, and a children’s pool.
The Residences at Evo City will be located at the southern portion of the estate and turnover is expected by 2020.
Latest estate development
This overwhelming response may be credited to the fact that The Residences is located within Evo City, which is being developed by property giant Ayala Land Inc. to become the next central business district (CBD) of the South.
Evo City, which spans over 200 hectares, is envisioned as a mixed use masterplanned sustainable estate development. It will feature a lifestyle mall by the Ayala Malls Group, a hotel by Ayala Hotels and Resorts Corp., office developments by Ayala Land Offices, and more residential offerings by Alveo. A school, church, hospital, and various civic spaces are seen to provide a dynamic and complete lifestyle in the area.
Future residents, workers, and visitors will experience an orderly, eco-friendly lifestyle with all the conveniences of a major CBD. Evo City is designed to be highly walkable and pedestrian-friendly, with designated bike lanes, bike racks, and interconnected open spaces.
Evo City will also introduce Parkettes, pocket parks located along contiguous roads that allow for breathing spaces within a five-minute walk, and serving as transit stops and bike parking spaces, among others.
Sustainability features
As with all Ayala Land developments, sustainability is a key feature of the estate.
A five-hectare main park anchors the entire CBD, while also functioning as a main storm water management facility. This facility will also be complemented by improved waterways and the use of porous materials for hardscapes.
Solar-powered streetlamps, use of endemic plants, and waste reduction programs will be the norm. Evo City will also urge locators to use solar powered facilities, energy and water-efficient fixtures, and build LEED-certified office buildings.
As a smart, efficient, and highly networked estate, an Integrated Operations Center will handle the multiple and interconnected services such as traffic management, public transport, emergency services, and security systems.
Also notable are the road widths at Evo City as these are comparable to the Makati CBD and Bonifacio Global City. Transit facilities to major destinations will be a five-minute walk.
Accessibility will not be a problem as well as the estate is bordered by the Centennial Road, Kalayaan Road, and the soon-to-be developed, Cavite-Laguna Expressway.
Evo City will be developed in phases. The first phase covers 121 hectares, 62 percent of which would be dedicated to high-density to mid-density mixed-use components, while the remaining 38 percent will be allocated for the so-called low-density residential uses.
