Cebu Pacific adding int’l flights

Budget carrier Cebu Pacific is adding more flights to key international destinations at the start of next year to keep up with growing demand from Filipino travelers.

The company in a statement said four new planes to be delivered between this month and January next year would be used for the additional frequencies to Brunei, Singapore, Beijing and Ho Chi Minh.

“Cebu Pacific already offers the most number of flights between the Philippines and Singapore, with direct flights from Manila, Cebu and Clark. We recognize Singapore as a high-traffic route for leisure and business, so we are adding more flights to meet the demand,” Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and distribution Candice Iyog said.

“We are also the only low-cost carrier operating direct flights from the Philippines to Brunei and Beijing. Our trademark low fares have allowed many overseas Filipino workers and tourists from Beijing to travel to the Philippines and vice versa,” she said.
