It was a night to remember at Lancaster New City last December 3 as more than 1,000 families were treated to a unique film showing in an outdoor set-up with a giant screen. In partnership with Cinema One, the Open Air Cinema held at the back of Lancaster New City’s Activity Center featured favorite Star Cinema films such as the Achy Breaky Heart and Everyday I Love You.

Despite the unpredictable weather, families enthusiastically joined the activity booths prepared for them when the gates opened at 4PM. Kids and the young-at-heart were able to bring home Lancaster New City and Cinema One freebies from the Mystery Christmas Sack and the Giant Christmas Card. Some enjoyed some competitive fun with the Blown-Up Jenga and the Build Your Ho Ho Home puzzle. Santa Clause was also there to take photos with families.

Officially opening the start of the program was DJ Chacha who did a great job in pumping up the crowd and welcoming them. She interviewed some of the guests and even had one showcase her singing talent. She then invited contestants from the crowd who played the Santa Limbo. RJ Jimenez also graced the stage and performed acoustic fan-favorites If We Fall In Love and Tuesday.

Closing the Open Air Cinema event was the 15-minute Santa’s Workshop signature light show of Lancaster New City. Guests evidently went home with smiles on their faces and truly feeling the warmth of Christmas right inside the township development.

The Open Air Cinema is one of many activities prepared for families at Lancaster New City Cavite this Christmas season. The more than 1,600 township development is “Your Family Friendly City” which aims to provide families with a complete community where they may thrive and grow, where everything is just within reach so they may live, learn, work, play, and pray.

There are still activities lined up this December so make sure to bring the family to Lancaster New City for a one of a kind experience. The Santa’s Workshop Christmas light show is still open on December 10-11, 17-18, and 24-26 at 6:30PM to 10:00PM. The traditional Simbang Gabi is also set to start on December 15, 7:00PM at the Church of the Holy Family. For the complete list of events, visit this link https://bit.ly/CLSEventDets ADVT
