Peso gains vs dollar
The peso Tuesday strengthened against the US dollar, closing at 48.2:$1 from Monday’s close of 48.525:$1.
At the Philippine Dealing System, the peso hit an intraday high of 48.2:$1 and a low of 48.535:$1. It opened at 48.47:$1.
