As one of the most reputable home construction retail store in the country, Wilcon Depot is on a mission to continuously build its dynasty of stores throughout the archipelago—and true to this undertaking, Wilcon Sta. Rosa was recently launched.

Laguna is not exactly an uncharted territory for Wilcon with two Laguna branches already open during the past years. Wilcon Calamba was established in 2009, and Wilcon San Pablo was launched last year. Last week, the grand opening of Wilcon Sta. Rosa was held, bringing in more big ideas for the homebuilders in that area.

I see the establishment of Wilcon Sta. Rosa as a fitting move, in accord to the blossoming progress of the city. For the past several years, there is no doubt that Sta. Rosa City stands out as the premier city of Laguna. The city is business friendly, and infrastructures are being erected in its various parts.

The town’s overall stability is strong, and is poised to continue its streak for years. Wilcon sees this bloom in the city’s industrialization as an avenue to reach more clients, and respond to the imminent need for better building merchandise.

The launch started off with a motorcade, participated by various suppliers and partners, roaming around the neighboring areas of Laguna. After which, the celebrations continued at the store through a ceremonial ribbon cutting and program hosted by influential columnist, Johnny Litton.

The ribbon cutting was led by Wilcon Founder and Chairman William Belo, SEVP-COO Rosemarie Ong, and Executive Financial Audit Manager and Product Director Careen Belo; they were joined by Laguna First District Representative Hon. Arlene Arcillas, Sta. Rosa, Laguna Vice Mayor Hon. Arnold Arcillas, together with special guests UAP National Vice President Arch. Maria Nina Bailon-Arce, Philippine Institute of Interior Designers College of Fellows Chancellor IDr. Johnny Hubilla, and yours truly.

One of the new customer service features of Wilcon is the Wilcon Digi. Also launched during the opening of Sta. Rosa branch, Wilcon Digi is a network created to be exclusively accessible inside Wilcon stores. By connecting to the network through smartphones or any wifi-enabled gadgets, a customer will be linked to a portal of information about Wilcon, its corporate values, news and events, services, product information, and practical home tips.

Wilcon Founder and Chairman, William Belo, prides in the hard work and support of their management team in making Wilcon a success throughout the years. He also shared that they are planning to launch three more branches in the following months. He adds that they have a set of well trained and seasoned pool of personnel, from their managers down to the support groups, ensuring that their customers are well taken care of.

Belo also attributes their success over the years to the help of their allies in the industry. “Without the invaluable support of our local and international suppliers, our partner architects, engineers, interior designers, contractors, developers, and of course our valued customers, Wilcon would not be what it is today. We thank all of you for your continued support and patronage,” he said during his speech.

Wilcon is committed at giving value for money, an encompassing product assortment, and excellent customer service. Wilcon is also a sponsor of the Red Charity Gala for the benefit of the Philippine Red Cross.
