With them are Teleperformance Chief Financial Officer Roberto Pe Benito, Jr. (leftmost) and Globe Business Senior Advisor for Enterprise and IT Enabled Services Mike Frausing (rightmost).

Teleperformance, one of the leading providers of outsourced customer experience management services in the country, continues to be a giant in the ICT-BPO sector as one of the driving forces for its growth in the Philippines.

Furthering its commitment to service, Teleperformance turned to Globe Business to provide a number of services for both the company’s wireline and wireless needs. These services range from Eline, MPLS, Direct Internet, BGIX (Burstable Internet), Data Center (Co-Location), Integrated Services for Digital Networks, Primary Rate Interface, Enhanced Managed Voice Solutions, to Mobile and TxtConnect.

Pioneer of the ICT-BPO industries

As one of the first BPOs in the country, Teleperformance opened as an all-Filipino group, Telephilippines, which started it all for local contact centers. Teleperformance began operations with only 50 agents in 1996. Since opening, the company has grown to an unprecedented size of over 40,000 employees in the Philippines with 20 business sites located all over the country.

Teleperformance President of Asia Pacific David Rizzo shares, “The growth we’ve experienced over the years is truly something we have worked hard to achieve. We’re certainly not finished and look forward to greater growth in the years to come.”

Soon reaching a milestone of 20 years of operations in the country, Teleperformance continues to focus on strengthening its presence in the Philippines. Its longstanding business in the country shows its dedication to supporting the country and providing prime employment to Filipinos nationwide.

Growing Into a Giant

With unparalleled growth over the years, Teleperformance has continued to place importance in the experience of the employees. Aside from career development and various amenities provided to them, employee engagement events are launched in order to build camaraderie among employees.

“Our growth,” Roberto Pe Benito, Jr. Chief Financial Officer remarked, “is something that we take pride in. A happy employee wants to do a better job for our customers and when our customers are happy, they want to grow with Teleperformance.”

Dependable, Strong, and Steadfast

“We have to be dependable, otherwise our clients will lose trust in us.” Rizzo continues, “We need to have a service provider that can keep up with our needs and we found that Globe is that kind of partner.”

As an ICT-BPO company, Teleperformance’s lifeline is its connectivity. With even a few minutes of down time, the cost implications are staggering and can affect the trust that it has built with its clients as it continues to attract customers from various countries. Backed with the service of Globe, they are equipped with a diverse and fully-redundant network.

Rizzo adds, “We have been working with Globe for many years now. Its innovative technological growth and customer-specific plans are things that we have benefited from since the onset of our partnership.”

Over A Decade Old Partnership

Mike Frausing, Senior Advisor for Enterprise and IT Enabled Services at Globe noted, “Teleperformance has trusted us for over a decade already and we plan to continue upholding their trust for more years to come. We’ve come so far together and we want to get even further.”

Within the past 3 years, Teleperformance grew to 14 sites and with the merger with Aegis People Support, the company gained additional 6 sites. All existing sites and even future sites for Teleperformance must have a Globe circuit as its primary or secondary circuit in order to provide the service that clients expect.
