The City Club at Alphaland Makati Place
The City Club is three hectares of leisure, entertainment and business options in Makati’s central business district. It is an integral component of Alphaland Makati Place. All unit owners at The Residences at Alphaland Makati Place are automatically members of The City Club, and nonresidents may also purchase memberships.
Located on Ayala Avenue, The City Club occupies the top three floors of the six-story podium of Alphaland Makati Place, with an area of 30,000 square meters. It is located within walking distance of most establishments in the city.
The City Club offers its members the most number of things to do under one roof. There are over 50 activities to choose from. The club houses eight specialty restaurants of international cuisine.

In its continuing efforts to provide the best amenities for the members, the City Club has added a new conference room that can accommodate up to 16 guests on the fifth floor. Thus, in addition to the ballroom, board room and the library, there are now seven private meeting rooms and three Chinese-inspired private rooms to cater to any group. Along with these amenities, The Alpha Suites is now open for business on the third floor of Alphaland Makati Place, with five luxuriously appointed one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites to cater to City Club’s members’ out-of-town guests and balikbayan family members. Aegle Wellness Center
The latest offering of The City Club is Aegle Wellness Center. Investing at least P350 million in a wellness center with world-class diagnostic facilities and medical team in each of its two leisure clubs—The City Club in Makati and island-resort Balesin Island Club—chair Roberto V. Ongpin did extensive research on the industry before adding this facility.
Alphaland Corp. recently inaugurated the upscale center on the sixth floor of The City Club. Another “Aegle” facility in Balesin is now under construction and is targeted to serve members and their guests by January according to Alphaland president Mario Oreta.
Aegle Medical Wellness is a world-class integrated healthcare center set in a 5-star urban and island haven focusing on disease prevention, lifestyle intervention and anti-aging. Chauchard is the founder and chair of La Clinique de Paris International, a well-established weight-loss and longevity clinic with branches all over the world.
Valdecañas is a specialist in regenerative medicine research for both hospital-based programs and clinical applications.
Appropriately named after the greek goddess of radiant good health, what better way to illustrate this marriage between science and nature; Aegle being the daughter of Aesculapius, the god of medicine and Epione, the goddess of soothing of pain.
