With this citation, Nolledo will represent the Philippines in the “World Entrepreneur Of The Year” awards in Monte Carlo, Monaco in June 2016.

Xurpas’ product portfolio includes casual games, stickers, messaging and social discovery applications, as well as call/SMS/data bundles, mobile advertising, and mobile commerce.

“Entrepreneurs are perceptive business leaders who understand a vital truth—that in order to win the game, one must sometimes change the rules for the better. Capitalizing on their strategic vision, entrepreneurs see the possibilities and opportunities that others cannot. As game changers, entrepreneurs continually innovate and improve the business landscape, just like how Mr. Nolledo has accelerated the evolution of mobile application technology in the Philippines,” SGV chair and managing partner Cirilo Noel said.

Although he couldn’t write any single program, Nolledo appreciated information technology, took advantage of low barriers to entry and built a thriving business around it. Doris Dumlao-Abadilla
