New retail destination opens in BGC

MANILA, Philippines–SSI Group Inc. has opened Central Square, a four-level retail destination at Bonifacio Central in Bonifacio Global City.

“We are basically on soft opening mode since there are still shops and new brands that have yet to open their doors to the public,” said Anton Huang, SSI Group president.

Recent store openings in Central Square have been those of popular American home furnishing store Pottery Barn, French olive oil company Olivier & Co., upscale tea salon TWG Tea, and the flagship stores of Michael Kors, Kate Spade and Marc by Marc Jacobs to name a few.

Huang said Central Square would be the site of many more stores which the local market would see for the first time such as those of C Wonder, Cortefiel from Spain and British fashion brand Reiss.

“We continue to look for brands to introduce locally to expand our present brand portfolio which ranges from the most luxurious to casual,” he said.

SSI Group, Inc. is the largest specialty retailer in the Philippines, retailing more than 100 international brands through 670 stores all over the country.
