Cebu Pacific cancels flights to and from Tacloban on Sept. 3

MANILA, Philippines–The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has announced the suspension of all flight operations at the Daniel Romualdez Airport (IATA
Code: TAC) in Tacloban, on September 3, 2014, to make way for runway repairs.

In a statement issued Monday night, Cebu Pacific said the following Cebu Pacific flights to and from Tacloban, scheduled on September 3, 2014 have been cancelled:
5J 651 / 652         Manila – Tacloban – Manila
5J 659 / 660         Manila – Tacloban – Manila
5J 653 / 654         Manila – Tacloban – Manila

5J 426 / 427         Cebu – Tacloban – Cebu
5J 428 / 429         Cebu – Tacloban – Cebu

The airline company said passengers in these flights will be re-accommodated in the soonest available flights, or they may rebook their flight within 30 days from
original departure date; reroute the flight to the alternate station (Cebu); or request for a full travel fund or full refund.
